What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Analyst position at Talntly?
Talntly is seeking a determined and experienced Credit Analyst for a client located in Nashville,TN. The Credit Analyst will be the gatekeeper for all credit requests coming into the credit department. The applicant will be responsible for completing fraud and documentation due diligence for applicants and existing customers, and will work directly with internal customers through the process.
Pay: $20 an hour
Job Type: 6 month contract
Location: This position is currently 100% remote. However, the training will be onsite in Nashville,TN and they may eventually go back to working one day in the office per week so you must be local.
Responsibilities
- Complete fraud checks on incoming credit applications including all AML/OFAC screenings. Requires knowledge of credit reporting data from 3rd party providers including Lexis Nexis and D&B. Also requires knowledge of how to trace the digital footprint for incoming applicant through the web through the use IP and email addresses.
- Gatekeeper for all incoming credit application, contracts and other legal documentation for the customer. Must ensure accuracy of all the documentation provided to complete the setup of an applicant.
- Must be able to apply existing credit policies when approving change requests for existing customers including address changes, add-on products, bank changes, name changes, and ownership changes.
- Complete the setup of new accounts to establish the account number, credit limit, cycle, terms and payment method after the applicant has passed our underwriting, fraud and documentation checks.
- Must have the ability to function in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Skills
- College degree in business, finance or related field, or 3 years of applicable work experience.
- Prior credit experience is preferred.
- Must be able to collaborate effectively with other members in order to achieve mutually-shared and individual objectives.
- Must have excellent PC skills including Excel and Word.
- Must be detail oriented, as well as good written and oral communicator.
