A multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund in Connecticut is seeking a Corporate Accountant for their Greenwich office.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of financial transactions within the general ledger, applying relevant US GAAP accounting principles and best practices
- Execute monthly close procedures within mandated timelines
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, prepaid expenses, receivables, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts
- Maintain fixed asset supporting schedules and ensure compliance with internal depreciation policies
- Contribute to process enhancement and development of best practices within Firm accounting systems, programs and procedures
- Assist with cash flow analysis and cash management
- Assist with periodic budget to actual reporting and analysis
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 2 years experience
- Public audit experience
Preferred Experience
- CPA
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
