A North Carolina-based services is currently seeking a new Systems Administrator I for a promising opportunity with their growing Data Assets team in Charlotte.

Responsibilities:
The Systems Administrator I will:
- Assist with file transfer platform design and security enhancements
- Support application installation on Linux and Windows OS
- Work as Tier I support of enterprise transfer platforms
- Fulfill account or access creation requests
- Troubleshoot client connection and file transfer failures
- Support platform security hardening and standardization efforts for file transfer platform and NAS platforms
- Support the creation of automation integration projects
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 1 year of related professional experience within the IT realm
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or a related field
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- MFT platform administration with product like Cleo Harmony or GlobalScape EFT, GoAnywhere, Ipswich, Moveit or Axway
- Experience with API Gateways
- Strong foundation in both Linux and Windows OS administration
- High level understanding of file transfer protocols SFTP, HTTPS, FTPS, AS2 and others
- Experience with file transfer clients, FileZilla, WinSCP and Linux command line
- Solid understanding of file access protocols SMB/CIFS and NFS
- Solid understanding of file level security
- Experience with Active Directory and LDAP
- Solid understanding of SSH certificate and or public/private key pair use and creation
- Experience with Bash Shell, Python and or PowerShell scripting (other scripting/coding languages)
- Experience with virtualization platforms
- Solid understanding of storage platforms NAS and SAN
- Basic experience Oracle and or SQL database administration
