How can you contribute to what we do?
- Function as the first point of contact to Team Members and management for general HR guidance and inquiries.
- Responsible for talent acquisition, onboarding, employee experience, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, policies & procedures, etc. championing the Company’s commitment to diversity, culture, community, fairness, integrity, and ethical working practices throughout.
- Conduct candidate sourcing activities for both passive and active candidates, ensuring candidate pools and pipelines are filled with diverse, experienced, and skilled candidates and platforms are maximized and utilized in a way to present a positive employer brand.
- Manage a candidate experience-oriented talent acquisition flow, including but not limited to job description review, developing compelling job postings, resume review, timely contacting and scheduling of qualified candidates, applicant screening, conducting interviews, evaluating candidates utilizing the most appropriate tools and techniques, developing proposals and recommendations for offer, and managing relative documentation and communications.
- Ensure interviewing, skills testing, and talent acquisition processes adhere to equal employment opportunity (EEO) guidelines, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other federal and state compliance requirements. Maintain necessary files covering applications, interview, and testing procedures and documents.
- Ensure reference checks and background investigations are conducted for all new hires in accordance with established protocols and ensure FCRA guidelines are met throughout.
- Ensure I-9 forms and E-Verify authorizations are conducted within the required timeframe. Coordinate and conduct annual I-9 audit for compliance.
- Maintain all internal notifications and activations and required state specific notices and documentation.
- Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate new hire orientation and a smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional experience. Lead the continuous development and improvement of onboarding programs.
- Provide confidential and objective support to associates and managers in the resolution of workplace issues.
- Where applicable, manage employee relations, conduct investigations, evaluate the facts and circumstances surrounding complaints and grievances in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws and regulations, provide final recommendations, and draft corrective actions and performance improvement plans. Ensure complete documentation to support proposed or final actions.
- Identify legal/compliance risk and escalate any potentially problematic situations.
- Enter termination data into UKG. Ensure electronic termination is approved, appropriately documented, and back-up documents are received and uploaded according to SOX requirements. Initiate internal and state required termination notifications and follow-up actions.
- Effectively monitor team member pulse and continuously promote a work environment where everyone is welcomed, respected, heard, supported, and able to thrive.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the business through people and culture, and the successful execution of HR programs and initiatives in partnership with managers and other HR staff.
- Work with the Manager of People Analytics to improve efficiency and outcomes in all areas.
- Provide general administrative support throughout the team member employment lifecycle.
- Perform additional duties or participate in other special projects as assigned.
What skills are necessary for success?
Business Acumen/Subject Matter Expertise:
- Ability to develop a strong understanding of business priorities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR policies and practices, local, state, and federal employment legislation, compliance requirements, and risk implications.
- Employee relations experience preferred.
- Effective and accurate tactical execution.
- Your education includes a Bachelor's degree (preferred in a Human Resources related field) with 3 years of related experience. A professional designation (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is highly preferred.
Technical and Professional Aptitude:
- Ability to understand basic metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
- Strong problem-identification and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use excellent judgement, maintain confidentiality, and act with personal, professional and behavioral integrity.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with HRIS/HCM.
- Effective internal and external customer service.

- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization: entry-level, technical, and senior leadership.
- Ability to establish positive, credible, professional working relationships within the department, across business units, and with vendors
- Ability to advise, and influence.
- Ability to provide verbal and written information clearly, succinctly, and persuasively through various formats including but not limited to documents, meetings, presentations, etc.
