Tango Card is looking to add a Paid Media and Advertising Manager to our team! In this role you will be charged with analyzing and interpreting industry data, figuring out ideal digital media channels, and modifying paid media strategies based on performance. This is a high-visibility role with meaningful goals that impact the business's overall success!

To be successful as Tango Card's Paid Media and Advertising Manager, you should be an authority in evaluating and testing new advertising channels. You should be the type of person who is excited to dig into data and figure out which campaigns are working. Additionally, you should be highly persuasive in negotiating and securing advertising space from third-party vendors and handling our digital advertising agency.

This role is responsible for strategy, execution, optimization, and projections.

 

Reports To: VP of Marketing

 

As Paid Media and Advertising Manager at Tango Card, you will:

  • Be responsible for negotiating, scheduling, and buying appropriate digital media to accomplish lead gen and customer acquisition goals
  • Identify target audiences and apply paid media strategies to reach our ideal customer profile
  • Analyze and measure results of paid media efforts and placements to generate positive ROAS
  • Coordinate with external paid advertising agencies to guide, direct and hold them accountable to numerical goals
  • Build brand awareness and qualified leads through multi-channel advertising campaigns and media buys
  • Lead creative deliverables, calendars, and ad units for various media outlets

To be effective in our Paid Media and Advertising Manager role, you must have:

  • Experience managing paid media programs
  • Ability to directly dive into managed advertising channels, like Google Ads, MSFT Advertising Solutions, LinkedIn Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, YouTube, to audit and evaluate performance.
  • Honed skills in selecting, negotiating with, placing, and tracking the performance of direct buys with media outlets that reach our ideal customer profile (HR, Marketing, Sales, Research, etc.)
  • Work with such channels as dedicated email, native advertising, sponsored webinars, content syndication, sponsored content, third-party remarketing, banner advertising, virtual events, and more
  • Expertise in tracking campaign data in real-time and maintaining both topline performance and ROAS reporting
  • Gifted in collaborating with marketing automation, content, product marketing, creative and data teams, in addition to all levels of sales and SDRs
  • Capacity to experiment with emerging channels such as Tik Tok, programmatic, ABM and AI/ML

 

Our ideal Paid Media and Advertising Manager at Tango Card will have most of the following skills and experience:

  • 5   years of experience in paid advertising, demand generation, or a related industry
  • Prior experience with project management tools like Monday.com and Trello
  • Gift card industry or payments experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding advertising performance goals
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, and advertising preferred
