Description: Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a Practice Supervisor for healthcare clinic in Davis County.
Hours: FT
Location: Layton
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision of Clinical Services staff.
- Manage and coordinate daily operations in assigned areas including staffing levels and coverage.
- Hire and train new staff.
- Ensure high levels of performance and productivity of Clinical Services staff through coaching, counseling, and conducting annual performance assessments.
- Serve as a key problem solver/liaison for patient, employee, and physician concerns.
- Work as Medical Assistant as clinic needs dictate.
Expectations for Success:
- LPN, RN, or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
- Minimum of five years' experience as a working LPN, RN, or Medical Assistant.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Must be capable of handling multiple tasks effectively and able to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.
- Demonstrate compassion and understanding for the patient and caring parties.
