Our robust and growing portfolio of owned brands continues to be a core driver of Target’s success – both in terms of profitable growth and guest loyalty. As of today, owned brands account for one third of Target’s sales and nearly half of its profit with an enviable growth trajectory into the future. Leading the roadmap to growth across the portfolio is the Owned Brand Management Team. The Owned Brand Management Strategy and Operations team is core to the vision of Owned Brand Management, driving strategic enterprise alignment, removing resourcing and prioritization roadblocks, and unlocking potential for the team.
About the Role:
As a Brand Management Operations Manager you ensure connection across the Owned Brand Management team and support the efficient and effective management of process and routines that keep the team operating efficiently. In the role of Operations Manager, you will create and maintain tools and connections that enable efficient budget planning, facilitate and optimize Brand Management routines, and support operations projects that improve the effectiveness of the brand management team.
Core Responsibilities:
- You will govern the process that enables strong enterprise connection for Owned Brand Management, which includes planning for leadership meetings, annual planning cadence and quarterly portfolio prioritization.
- You will support the creation and maintenance of an executive summary of team operations and budgets. In collaboration with team admins, you will put in place processes for maintaining budget systems and ensure timely updates of forecasts within leader forums. You will ensure that brand roadmap shifts are accounted for, and facilitate leadership conversations on team operations.
- You will develop, monitor, & continuously improve the routines and cadence for the Owned Brand Management team. Ensure clarity around forum & routine purpose, attendance, sequencing, and streamlined information flow.
- You will oversee team collaboration in service of routines to ensure agendas are planned and aligned in advance and content owners are aware of responsibilities. You will also ensure leader alignment and visibility to team routines.
- You will iterate and improve upon Owned Brand Management approaches and define best practices on portfolio-spanning projects, increasing team sharing and collaboration, and improving overall operations.
- You will support brand management’s Strategy and Ops team, contributing work toward prioritized strategic initiatives and the improvement of team operations, tools, and approaches as needed.
- You will support change management efforts of the team, cascading information, insights, & discussions to key business partners where needed to drive critical discussion & connected decision-making across the enterprise.

About You:
- Four-year degree required or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience within project management or administrative fields
