Logistic Analyst- Secret Clearance Required

The Logistics Analyst position supports the Logistics Combat Element Branch within the Science and Technology Division at the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, located outside Marine Corps Base, Quantico in the Quantico Corporate Center. A special project with a commercially modified OffShore Support Vessel supporting the Marine Corps Stern Landing Vessel. This is one of the USMC's premier strategic and innovative programs.

Some local telework is possible, but position is primarily on site at MCWL

Essential Job Function

• Support Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations (JCTD), other test and evaluation events, and technology capability demonstrations.
• Attend Marine Corps, DoD, and commercial events related to Manned and Unmanned surface craft and logistics technologies.
• Assist in drafting strategic documents, roadmaps, and briefs such as: Concepts of Employment (COE), CONOPS and inputs to Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)/requirements documentation, After Action Report (AAR) for major events, program briefs, and concept/white papers for logistics innovation initiatives, and weekly activity reports.
• Support and foster project collaboration across the DoD joint force to include: DoD laboratories, sister service innovation elements, science & technology offices and requirements developers.
• Facilitate industry and academia collaboration, through outreach to seek out opportunities to collaborate on logistics innovation technologies.

Desired Qualifications:

• Program Management or Program Office experience.
• Science and Technology experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, and Business, Management or related scientific or technical discipline.
• 8 years DoD experience combined with knowledge of the Logistics Technology development process.
• Eight (8) years of experience in managing and directing DoD projects and programs related to requirements initiatives and/or technology development/integration.
• Understanding of capability portfolio and technology development and maturation documentation.
• Understanding of Marine Corps Force Design requirements.
• Demonstrated and Specialized expertise on logistics technology requirements and program development.
