Job Summary:
The GFX Designer works directly with GFX Supervisor & Director of Post Production to implement vision of Creative Directors into final deliverables for Broadcast, CTV/New Media, and Digital.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Daily

Supporting the Post-Production Team & Supervisor in the following areas:
- Graphics creation or animation using After Effects, Cinema4D, Blender
-
Translating client needs and branding strategies into design strategies
-
Designing visual concepts using graphic design tools including design software
-
Selecting colors, fonts, photographs, layouts, and other design elements to communicate creative concepts
-
Collaborating with art directors, branding experts, front end developers, marketing, content, and other professionals to create media
-
Supporting other design avenues for TCM & parent MOORE company
Weekly

Constant communication regarding project responsibilities
-
Education/understanding of organization apps and company process workflow
- will train upon start of employment
As Needed

Continued industry education & skill development

Performs other duties as required
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Software literacy: Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Adobe Creative Suite CC21 : Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) 6 years preferred, 3D compositing

Mac and PC literate
- Mastery of graphic design software

Mastery of 3D design software (Cinema4D and Blender)

Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design and software skills

Solid knowledge of design and visual principles
- Strong written and spoken communication skills

Strong organizational skills, design sense & attention to detail

Ability to oversee and direct the work of Jr. GFX Animators/Artists
- Ability to evaluate choices critically, with the customer needs in mind

Ability to communicate design choices clearly

Great multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to adhere to & help to refine detailed processes

Engaged and passionate individual with a team-focused mindset
Education and Experience:
-
4 years of Non-Linear narrative editing in a professional environment (preferred but not required)
