What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser/Dishwasher position at Tartine?
This job is for Busser and dishwasher with experience able to lift over 30LBS and be a hard worker. When you are scheduled as a busser you will be tipped out by the servers, we work as a team and the busser gets from 12.5%-15% of the tips depending on the crew size. As a dishwasher you will be earning a dollar above minimum and with time you will be able to earn more.
The job will require you to sweep the floors, clean tables refill water, iced tea, coffee etc, greet and seat customers down.
As a dishwasher your tasks will be taking out trash for the cooks and bakers and washing plates, pan, pots, mixing bowls, utensils, glasses and placing them back to their original place. this is a very simple job but almost never ending during weekends.
For this position you must be willing to be a dishwasher for a couple of shifts and busser for a shift or 2, if you are looking for part time we can talk about your availability but weekends are a must, we do not discriminate because of religion, sex, age, ethnicity but restaurants tend to be busier on weekends so you should be available as well.
