What you’ll do
We’re looking for an organized project manager to support our business development initiatives as our Business Development Project Manager. In this role, you’ll manage the technical and administrative components of the complete life cycle of large complex projects, including but not limited to: coordination of strategic projects, evaluation of potential partnerships, vetting and implementation of new products and services, coordinating the development of sales strategies and associated artifacts, and supporting business planning activities.
In this role, you’ll also:
- Support the design and implementation of HPI’s strategic plans and associated initiatives.
- Facilitate research, discussion, and execution of business alliances and vendor partnerships as a point of contact to support and sustain relationships with essential corporate partners.
- Evaluate and implement programs and products to enhance the company’s portfolio of services.
- Develop and maintain project plans and other supporting documentation. Monitor project progress and performance to ensure completion of tasks, subtasks, and deliverables are on schedule.
- Coordinate operational process improvement/ efficiency efforts identified as corporate priorities.
- Develop documentation/guides of various programs and processes.
- Coordinate meetings, set agendas, and issue meeting minutes in a timely manner.
What you bring
- A bachelor’s degree
- Experience with health insurance and/or third party administration
- Experience with writing and editing preferably in a business context
- Highest level of competency with applying project management techniques, tools and methods, including risk assessment, communication planning, resource estimating and the use of the MS Project and MS Office suite of products.
- Advanced skills in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to coordinate with management as effectively as with subordinates
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
- Ability to partner and lead teams to deliver project objectives; ability to work independently and on a team
- Ability to anticipate and understand systems and stakeholder interactions
