The Team
Everts Air Cargo was formed in 1995 as a Part 121 Certificated Cargo Airline. Everts Air Cargo’s headquarters are located in Fairbanks Alaska. Fairbanks serves as our primary base for the maintenance department for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include A checks, B checks and C checks. Line maintenance functions are also conducted in Anchorage Alaska, and Laredo Texas. Our current fleet consists of the MD-80, DC-9, DC-6, and the C-46.
Job Summary:
The Publications Department is responsible for the quality of, and has the authority to establish and modify, the policies, procedures, instructions, and information of the currency, distribution, and availability of manuals and other publications within the Everts Air. This position will work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Safety and other departments involved with the development of Company publications.
Essential Functions:
- Provide daily support to revise and maintain the Company manuals within the manual system:
- Maintain the revision cycles of manuals for EAC, EAA and
- Maintain the currency of all electronic company manuals posted on the company
- Construct manuals to include technical
- Maintain web-based manufacturer manuals portal.
- Maintain master and historical reference for all hard-copy
- Maintain Shared Review Access Document for Company
- Provide training support for Adobe Shared Review
- Responsible for revision, obtaining signatures of acceptance, and distribution of FAA-issued accepted or approved
- Coordinate the printing and distribution of required paper copies of manuals and related documents.
- Monitor the return of Transmittal Revision Sheets to ensure paper copies of manuals have been
- Work with departments to generate, edit, and revise Company
- Maintain the master and historical references for all
- Maintain the currency of electronic Company forms posted on the company
- Create, update, and maintain aircraft
- Perform audits on A/C Libraries for Company manuals in a timely manner as
- Perform biannual and annual audits for all Company manuals, controlled manuals, and technical manuals maintained in manual owners' and maintenance libraries for applicability to aircraft, accuracy, and currency:
- Resolve audit findings for all publications.
- Assist employees with application support and related IT
- Perform other duties as
Additional Responsibilities:
Safety
- Comply with all safety aspects, specific practices and procedures of the work scope and position(s).
- Be familiar with the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and Occupational Safety Manual (OSM).
- Contribute to the Safety Culture of the Company and report any Safety Hazards.
- Required to learn and understand Dangerous Goods Transportation requirements.
- Keep your work areas clean and free of hazards; correct unsafe conditions when encountered and report those, that you are unable to personally correct, to a supervisor.

- Ability to reach horizontally and vertically with arms. Sufficient dexterity to manipulate small objects and print or write legibly.
- Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility, and stamina to lift, carry, push, or pull objects which may frequently exceed 70 pounds in a series of functional tests which clearly simulates the work environment.
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Requires the ability to be sedentary for extended periods of time.
- Shall perceive the nature of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, providing oral information, the manual dexterity to operate business related equipment, and handle and work with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job.

Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and
- Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat and the Microsoft Office
- Experience with FrameMaker a
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve to deliver high quality products with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable to broad audiences.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as
- Excellent written and grammar skills, the ability to communicate efficiently, and strong organization skills.
