Job Posting for Billing Specialist at Tax Airfreight Inc

Our company is looking for an experienced and proactive Billing Specialist to join our Finance team. This role requires someone with the ability to balance building trusting relationships and guaranteeing timely payments.

Responsibilities

  • Identify unresolved debts by monitoring aging reports
  • Review account alterations, resolve client inconsistencies
  • Follow-up with clients on overdue accounts
  • Oversee all monthly payments and refunds
  • Respond to client account inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Process rate adjustments, customer refunds and collect overdue payments


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar collection role. Experience in the transportation or logistics field is a plus
  • Strong understanding of billing and collection processes
  • Proficient in working with multiple EDI platforms and multiple client websites and above average Excel knowledge
  • The ability to prioritize commitments and organize your workflow
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
