What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Assistant position at Taxrise?

Summary

The Marketing Assistant will provide continual support for the brand/creative team in all of their various efforts including scheduling, expenses, vendor procurement R&D meeting scribe. They will work as part of a larger marketing team to offer administrative support and fill in on essential tasks. They perform general clerical tasks for the department such as, organizing files, collecting data, and creating reports. In addition to administrative assistance, Marketing Assistants will share ideas with Marketing Managers and create presentations to help them pitch new marketing campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responding back to prospective clients via email and direct messaging.
  • Help maintain schedules, manage brand, and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns and strategy.
  • Perform market and client research.
  • Generate reports on marketing performance.
  • Assist with social media and website content.
  • Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
  • Supporting marketing department in organizing various projects.

  • Ability to add creative across all platforms.
  • Knowledge in the design of learning experience.
  • Knowledge of learning principles and training approaches.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Detail orientated and commitment to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Comfortable working in a high-energy, quickly changing, and demanding environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with employees at all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office including Excel, Google Gmail, Google Calendar, and internal communication software.
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet time-sensitive deadlines.

Preferred

  • Marketing in the financial space.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Experience with platforms such as Jira and/or Monday.

Education and/or Experience

Three to five years of work experience in an office or administrative setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
