What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper/ Accounting Assistant & Mailroom attendant position at TBM LLC?
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk/ administrative assistant to the accounting manager that will also be responsible for tending to our small Mailroom/distribution department.
Responsibilities include (however not limited to) :
- Daily banking tasks (some examples are prepare deposits, positive pay maintenance, verify/research and process bank and Quickbooks transactions)
- A/R and A/P assistance to accounting manager
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounting data entry in Quick Books and other software platforms as needed
Mailroom/Distribution duties (include however not limited to ):
- Monitor print application for all print jobs (could be payroll checks, w-2’s, 1099’s , other items as directed by the accounting manager )
- Print , seal and package payroll checks and reports for shipment.
- Communicate with payroll managers about print jobs
- Maintain Fedex database of shipping addresses and maintain Fed Ex supply orders
- Track packages via Fed Ex website for payroll managers.
- Prepare and deliver outgoing mail to post office daily
- Contact and communicate printer vendor for printer/sealer service when needed
- Other office duties/projects as needed or requested by management
Qualifications:
Knowledge of basic payroll bookkeeping practices
Data entry experience Knowledge of Quickbooks, Mastertax and EFTPS is helpful
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (outlook, word, excel )
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
