Job Description
- Overseeing and managing the financial activities of the organization
- Review finances regularly to manage risk
- Manage and continue to develop accounting procedures
- Lead and Manage external CPA for financial statements, taxes, compliances, etc....
- Manage and develop existing TCS staff for payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Lead tax strategy planning with help from outside parties
- Participate in monthly job cost
- Participate in strategy and planning meeting to develop and grow the business
- Support, solicit, and maintain company corporate plans (401K, Company Insurances and Health Insurance Programs)
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- CPA and a minimum of 5 years experience
- Proficiency in using accounting software like ComputerEase
- Strong knowledge of cash management principles
- Experience in balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger maintenance
- Familiarity with accounts receivable/payables/payroll processes
- Ability to forecast financial trends accurately
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related field
- Five or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
- Professional certification, such as CPA (certified public accountant)
- Construction Experience (Prefered Experience)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent MS Office skills and ability/drive to learn new software systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Ability to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, twist, bend, and lift 25 pounds
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
This is a full time position based in Bastrop, Texas with travel to jobsite locations as required
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
