Job Description:
Provides management and coordination of Federal, State and Local proposals including:
- Overall end to end responsibility for proposal content creation, compliance, coordination and submission. Understand the client needs and RFP requirements and formulate win themes, teaming, strategies, pricing, subcontractors to submit a winning proposal. Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage multiple proposals (Federal and state) simultaneously
- Manage virtual teams working in numerous time zones
- Maintain version control
- Manage Teams channels for various proposal efforts
- Working with a sales team to determine solutions to customers’ challenges and supporting the sales team to present proposals to clients.
- Works with solution team to develop the proposal approach and solution.
- Compliance matrix development
- Past performance coordination
- Color Team Reviews and recovery efforts
- Conduct effort review and pricing calculations using tools
Qualifications:
- Business degree ( Bachelor or Master in Business Administration); Preferred – Specialization/Major in Finance
- 4-7 years of progressive experience in proposal development
- APMP Certification is a Plus but not required – willing to attain
- Team player that can multi-task
- Familiarity with Shipley method and processes
