This Office Manager opening is a full-time, on-site position in Akron, Ohio. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00a. to 5:00p.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous office management experience in broadcast/communications, marketing, or related field.
- A professional, proactive, and integrity-driven work ethic.
- Proven experience in communications, both verbal and written.
- Must have the knowledge and the ability to apply best practices and office administration procedures.
- Acute attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in regard to the preparation of documents, reports and records/files.
- A high level of confidentiality with regard to ministry relationships and the business information of the organization.
SKILLS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be resourceful and able to overcome obstacles on his/her own.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other departments.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency within a deadline-oriented fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to create and maintain documents, reports, and proposals.
- Ability to work with local station and corporate level personnel in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Willingness and ability to assume new/more duties as the need arises.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the spiritual and general oversight, management, maintenance and operation of the office.
- Hiring, training, evaluation, and dismissal of employees.
- The liaison with local and regional ministries, companies, and others interacting with the ministry.
- Responsible for keeping the station legal, presentable and effective.
- The maintaining of a manner consistent with the high moral and ethical standards of the ministry.
- Excellent business ethics and integrity consistent with biblical standards.
- Establish personal and devotional habits in harmony with the stated policy of the ministry.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating all areas of office management in a thorough manner.
- Researching all areas of station responsibility from both the objectives to be realized and needs that exist, including technical and professional resources.
- Responsible for developing a thorough understanding of the ministry policies and procedures.
- Promptly and accurately completing all reports to record-keeping departments and agencies and filing the same.
- Maintenance compliance with EEO, OSHA, and city, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for being the on-site public relations representative for the ministry.
- Active participation in community organizations, churches, religious groups, and all pastor interactions.
- The oversight of the maintenance of the overall business appearance, organization, and general housekeeping needs of the office so as to present the best possible image of the ministry to the public and guests.
- Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
