Warehouse - Inventory Control Manager Position:The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for maintaining the quality and accuracy of the inventory in all Texas facilities. Responsibilities will include inventory control management, quality assurance, and all inventory planning activities. The Inventory Control Manager will work closely with operations and sales to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained, and inventory health is managed closely (Damage, Rotation, DOH, Shelf-life, etc.). PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESInventory Control ManagementDevelop Inventory Control Plan and IC Management TeamWeekly Cycle Count Plan developed based on value and frequencyDevelop IC Supervisor to manage cycle counters and execute cycle count scheduleManage IC labor budget, to include supervisor and cycle countersDevelop job description and G&A’s for IC Supervisor and Cycle Counter positionsWork with Finance to develop and maintain IC budgetCreate and Maintain Inventory Reporting and KPI’s, working closely with Ops to manageDistribute Inventory Summary weeklyCreate and review large adjustments report weekly with OperationsReview warehouse short report daily to determine cause and corrective actions Weekly Damage/Expiration Date ReportDistribute weekly cycle count update Quality Control ManagementWork closely with Food Safety Corporate to execute all Recall ProceduresEnsure Product Recall SOP is updated and all employees are trained in Ops and ICReview all QA/QC reported deficiencies, and ensure products meet company standardsManages the internal and external quality audit processesInbound audits on vendor and internal loadsExternal audits on all outbound loadsCreate and manages all SOPs for the quality audit processesDirectly manages all quality audit personnelADDITIONAL GOALS & RESPONSIBILITIES The following requirements include cross-departmental objectives and goals.
