Overview
As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the commercial sales organization, including managers, outside sales representatives, account managers, and the Business Sales & Support Center (BSSC). Primary duties include maintaining documentation and databases (SFA, BSR, etc.), distributing sales leads, processing, and assigning contacts with external customer requests made via the RNW, answering incoming calls, data entry, office management, vendor management, ordering office supplies. Also, you will provide general administrative support, as well as back-up support to other members of the commercial sales organization as needed or when necessary.
The pay range listed for this position represents the low and high end of the base compensation range. However, the base pay rate offered for this position is expected to be $17.00 - $19.00/ hr. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation.
This position has the opportunity to work remotely in any of the states that TDS operates in.

Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the commercial sales team, including project and offline tasks including, but not limited to:
- Inter-office support to the managers, outside salespersons, account managers, BSSC, customers and other applicable parties. (e.g., distribute sales leads through SFA, pull CSR/CSIs, address validations, DSL loop qualifications, provide message support, review sales contracts for compliance, submit orders through order entry process, follow/track orders in COBRA and Metasolv, prepare and package sales proposals for distribution).

Update BSR with account assignments, expiration dates, and contact information.
SFA company, contact, and task management\data validation.
Provide both office management support and administrative support as needed within one or more local sales offices.

- Coordinate office(s) necessities (e.g., ensure office cleanliness and organization, and coordinate proper functioning of facility equipment (including telecommunications equipment).
- Provide receptionist functions and services, including answering incoming phone calls and greeting walk–in/ visitor traffic.
- Maintain adequate stocks of office supplies and marketing materials within the office(s).
- Post any and all relevant employee/office notices and maintain communications with all other location co-workers.
Serve as a subject matter expert related to office systems.

- Process customer correspondence through Right Now Web.
- Provide local support for SFA and Microsoft applications.
Provide support and coordination for communication and maintenance of all office processes and procedures. Create and/or update processes and procedures.

- Provide on-boarding training to new hires as needed.
- Update and distribute product or service information to advisors.
- Provide support for organizing and hosting meetings, office tours, outings, product demonstrations, etc.
- Assist, coordinate and participate in sales conferences, training sessions, tours, marketing functions and meetings.
Qualifications

- 2 years’ experience in an administrative/sales support position.

- Organized, self-motivated, detail orientated, analytical, able to work with minimal supervision.
- Pursuing ongoing professional development in Management, Leadership, Data Analysis, Coaching, Communication.
- Computer skills, to include spreadsheets, database and other hardware and software applications.
