What are the responsibilities and job description for the DISTRIBUTION SALES MANAGER III - Fully Remote position at TE Connectivity?
TE Connectivity is looking to fill a Distribution Sales Manager role within our Aerospace, Defense & Marine Business Unit. The position will support general account management, AD&M strategy, and business development with key distribution partners as well as driving end customer demand generation for ADM products in a regionally assigned territory. Strong collaboration will be needed across the product management, marketing, and direct sales teams to support the execution of the overall AD&M business plans. This position will report to the Manager of Distribution Sales – Americas for AD&M.
What you will be doing:
- Account management duties for assigned distribution partners including strategic planning, demand generation, booking/billing forecasts, inventory analysis/stocking package recommendations, and marketing plan execution.
- Collaboration with Distributor Sales offices in assigned territory to drive end customer demand generation including product/application training, sales opportunity reviews, new product promotions, and end customer sales engagement at select accounts.
- Develop relationships with regional distributor executive management to enable executive support and execution of the strategic plan. Includes sales, marketing, asset, and general management.

What your background should look like:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of distribution sales/account management experience – TE and/or AD&M industry preferred. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple strategic priorities. Comfortable engaging with all levels of an organization – from local distributor branch teams to corporate executives. You look to bring the Extraordinary Customer Experience to every person you meet, including your colleagues.
Proven track record of forging strong professional relationships.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple functions: Business Unit Management, Product Management, Marketing, etc.
- Showcase excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong background in utilizing data analytics to develop strategy and drive sales execution – PowerBI, Tableau, and Excel experience preferred.
- Exhibit strong results-orientation and execution characteristics.
- Be a team player- willing to roll up your sleeves and do the work at hand.
- Show strong organizational and planning skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or business with a technical background
- 3-5 years’ experience in sales management.
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, with the ability to deliver formal presentations to senior leadership.
- The ability to negotiate with executives at all levels of an organization is a must.
- A self-directed personality that can analyze market needs and deliver strong results through the sales process.
You May Also Have (Preferred)
- 0-3 years experience in Electronics Distribution Sales Management
- Experience in product management, sales & marketing, or product engineering with AD&M products.
You Will Be Measured By
- Profitable growth in direct booking and billings for assigned distribution partners.
- End customer demand generation for AD&M TE products in assigned geography.

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $79,200 - 118,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
