Substitutes Teachers
Solon Community School district is looking for Substitute Teachers. A qualified candidate will be working with a collaborative grade level team, implementing Iowa Core Curriculum and district standards with a strong literacy focus. Reading endorsement preferred.
The degree requirement to obtain a substitute authorization is changed from a bachelor’s degree to an associate’s degree or 60 semester hours through a regionally-accredited institution.
The substitute authorization course is still required. All courses are online for a total of 20 hours.
