Housekeeper

Teal Lake Senior Living Community is a special combination of housing, personalized supportive services and healthcare designed to meet the needs of those who can benefit from help with activities of daily living. There are 38 resident apartments, and the community is perched on the top of a bluff overlooking beautiful Teal Lake.

Teal Lake Senior Living Community has an opportunity for full time employment in housekeeping. Job duties include:

• Perform the day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routing cleaning assignments in resident living and/or community areas.
• Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner.
• Ensure that established infection control practices are maintained when performing housekeeping procedures
• Clean/polish furnishing, fixtures, ledge, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident rooms’ community areas etc., daily as instructed.
• Clean, wash, sanitize and/or polish bathroom fixtures. Ensure that water marks are removed from fixtures.
• Clean windows, mirrors in resident rooms, community areas, bathrooms, and entrances/exit ways.
• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
• Clean carpets to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing and disinfecting.
• Clean public and resident restrooms, including moping floor, wiping down and disinfecting sink, toilet and shower.
• Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc.
• Remove dirt, dust, grease, film etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Clean hallways and stairways.
