The Position
:
The Teal Plumbing Designer will work within a team environment to prepare drawing packages utilizing Revit and/or AutoCAD design software. They will maintain high quality standards, communicate with team members/clients on various projects and assist in the organizing and maintenance of all completed design drawings and documents.
Responsibilities include:
- Sizing domestic hot water systems
- Integrating Teal's domestic hot water solutions in site specific designs
- Sizing domestic hot water and heating hot water distribution systems
- Communicating with client's regarding design integration
Education & Experience:
- 2-5 years of Plumbing Design experience with a focus on Domestic HW distribution systems and equipment.
- Project design experience in multi-family properties, high-rise buildings and student housing facilities. Healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical general requirements for discussions with Design Team and outside clients.
- Revit and AutoCAD proficient.
- ASPE CPD (Certified in Plumbing Design) preferred, but not required.
