PT Warehouse Associate / Worker

Gap, PA

• Work a year-round, flexible, part-time schedule , 20-25 hours / week between 8 AM and 4 PM, with the possibility of becoming full-time
• On-the-job training provided for the right candidate
• Receive & unload orders
• Inspect products for damage and verify quantities delivered
• Update inventory records and organize items in the warehouse
• Locate & retrieve products based on orders
• Prepare items for dispatch
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excesses
• Organize & maintain the warehouse layout for efficient operations
• Use forklifts and pallet jacks to move & organize products

LanChester Grill & Hearth is looking for a part-time Warehouse Associate / Worker who will take charge of our ordering & receiving and warehouse management.

Our Ideal PT Warehouse Associate / Worker :

• Experienced : No experience is necessary, but previous warehouse experience is a plus. We welcome retirees and semi-retirees to apply and are willing to provide on-the-job training to the right person.
• Good Communicator : Able to build good relationships & trust by listening and providing excellent service.
• Motivated : Your experience is not as important as your attitude. We are looking for someone who is friendly and a good team player.
• Adaptable : Keeps a positive outlook & attitude while finding the best ways to manage all the responsibilities in running the warehouse and willing to learn other duties.
• Detailed : Strong organizational ability with great attention to accuracy and consistency.
• Problem-solver : Someone who can assess why a system may not be functioning properly and find an efficient alternative.
• License : You will be making occasional pickups and deliveries. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for three years.
• Active : Normal physical requirements for a warehouse job be on your feet for extended periods, able to bend, kneel, and lift 50 lbs.
