Team Fishel, the Best Choice in Utility Construction, is hiring an Office Support professional for our new Durham, NC operation.
The purpose of the Office Support role at Team Fishel is to provide excellent and reliable support to the Office Manger and field operations teams. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and pride in their work. You must be able to problem solve and improvise when necessary. This position requires someone who works well with multiple deadline driven responsibilities, ability to multitask, and communicate effectively on workload and changing priorities. Accuracy and attention to detail, as well as strong skills in Microsoft Office, are a must.
Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
- Material Inventory Reconciliation (Weekly and Monthly tracking)
- Purchase Orders & Accounts Payable. Full cycle A/P understanding is preferred. This position is responsible for taking calls from all field employees requesting to purchase goods and services. Issuance of Purchase Orders, verifying delivery or receipt of product/service, reconciling statements/invoices for payment authorization and accurate job costing, researching and setting up vendors locally and out of state for goods and services

- Collecting and analyzing data using Microsoft Excel
- Invoicing
- Researching and compiling data
- Ensure accurate job costing
- Accounts Receivable as needed
- Other office duties as assigned
Prior experience in the construction or engineering industry and bilingual skills are highly desirable.
