**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting, industrial painting, and auto painting. The Painter will be responsible for painting and finishing surfaces to the highest standards, ensuring a safe and clean work environment, and adhering to the company's lean manufacturing principles. **Duties:** - Conduct thorough surface preparation, including sanding, cleaning, and repairing surfaces as needed. - Apply paint and coatings using airless paint spraying equipment, hand tools, and other specialized tools. - Assemble and disassemble equipment, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance. - Utilize forklifts and other mechanical equipment as necessary to move materials and tools around the job site. - Demonstrate basic math skills to accurately measure and mix paint and materials. - Work efficiently and effectively to meet production schedules and deadlines. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient painting process. - Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and optimize productivity. **Qualifications:** - Proven experience in construction painting, industrial painting, or auto painting. - Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials. - Ability to operate hand tools and forklifts safely and effectively. - Familiarity with airless paint spraying equipment. - Basic math skills to accurately measure and mix paint and materials. - Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment. - Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet production schedules and deadlines. - Strong teamwork and communication skills.
