OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - TEAM LEAD
FULL-TIME
The Team Leader assumes a leadership role on the patient care teams. This individual takes a supportive role to the Therapy Manager and Director of Rehabilitation in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. The Team Leader also identifies patient care needs, designs and monitors the patient’s progress, and provides direct patient care. This position provides day to day operational support to achieve optimal productivity, serve as a resource for co-workers, ensure customer satisfaction, and assist staff to provide quality care.
The incumbent provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients depending on service area. The therapist meets productivity standards and satisfactorily completes and maintains all required documentation. The Occupational Therapist maintains a “Patient First” orientation and meets AMC customer service standards. The Occupational Therapist serves as a flexible member of both disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams, including assisting others as needed and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
Licensure: Must possess a valid license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by the State of Ohio.Certification: CPR Certification required
Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree
