Quantity Tracker – Kingsport, TN
- Experience performing Industrial Projects (Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Heavy Industrial)
- Perform estimate analysis, quantity change management, quantity budget analysis and maintaining the project Earned Value System
- Perform tasks required to develop and maintain quantity budgets based upon estimate and Work Breakdown Structure
- Maintain the Field Progressing Database to calculate work quantity requirements and perform weekly progress and productivity updates per cost account
- Report weekly project forecasts utilizing quantities installed to date and labor productivity
- Interface with upper management, project management, engineering and construction departments on earned value related items and functions including reporting requirements, progress status, and the total quantities to be installed.
- Support field supervision and project management through preparation and maintenance of quantity budgets and forecasts; includes identifying potential overruns, under runs, forecasting and quantity change management.
- Prepare, update and issue reports from staff input
- Intermediate MS Office Suite experience REQUIRED

Summary:
Responsible for independently applying quantity surveying techniques and analysis within the project environment. Duties also include performing quantity progress audits and issuing quantity/workhour reports. Also responsible for estimate analysis, quantity change management, quantity budget analysis and maintaining the project Earned Value System.
Additional Functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Earned Value techniques
- Able to develop relationships with internal and external customers
- Working field knowledge of construction projects and the ability to analyze weekly field progressing reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Capable of handling multiple projects.
- Constructability & strategy leadership.
- Firm knowledge of construction, Maintenance project in Industrial setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal & external clients
- Organizational & detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, P6 and Microsoft Project
- Ability to multi-task working within a team structure and independently.
Education and Experience:
- 4-year degree of Industrial Construction experience, preferably in construction management, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills are required.
- Strong drive for results and be able to multi-task in a high stress environment as well as to coordinate with various departments in accomplishing required projects and tasks
