Title- Material Planner
Duration- 12 months
Location- Bothell, WA

Summary:
The client is looking for a Material Planner who is responsible to support GMP material planning in a clinical/commercial GMP manufacturing plant. You will act as a business partner and work with stakeholders to define business needs, analyze inventory, and place and manage orders with external suppliers.

- Contacts vendors to get price quotes and material availability.
- Maintains item master data and MRP data elements in Oracle ERP.
- Maintains min/max quantities for commonly stocked items.
- Manages expiry of existing inventory.
- Prepares purchase requisitions and sends purchase orders to vendors.
- Tracks the status of requisitions, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, damaged goods, and other issues.
- Works closely with MSAT, and manufacturing teams to understand Clients material needs, and develops an order strategy to minimize cost and reduce waste
- Liaise with quality control, quality assurance, and manufacturing to ensure availability of released materials in time for use in manufacturing
- Manages cross-functional creation and maintenance of manufacturing bill of material.
- Oversee the sourcing of new materials and facilitating completion of new part process by interfacing with QC and Compliance functions to ensure approval of material and supplier.
- Coordinates with manufacturing and QA to resolve material issues (e.g., expedite, shortage, defect, etc.) and escalates potential material shortages before they affect production.
- Collaborates with Manufacturing and Materials Management departments to ensure timely release and completion of production orders and transfer of required materials.

Skills/Qualifications
- BS degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, or related field.
- 0-2 years industry experienced preferred.
- Excellent analytical and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
- GMP experience preferred.
- Strong aptitude with Excel

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bothell, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 3 years (Required)
• Supply chain: 3 years (Required)
• GMP: 2 years (Preferred)
