Business Analyst

PURPOSE

Study existing practices while looking for process improvements. Develop requirements and design organizational processes utilizing information systems and tools. Configure SaaS software products to support business processes and define key performance indicators. Support plants with project implementations, problem resolutions, and best practices

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Documents existing “as is” business processes as use cases. Then analyze these processes to develop new “should be” processes utilizing software systems and tools. Finally, implement new or improved processes across plants based off analysis.
• Develops and delivers progress and data reports, proposals, presentations, budgets, and summaries to C-level executives and management.
• Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications either verbally or through written documentation to project team and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Serves as the PowerBI subject matter expert and thought leader throughout the project implementation life cycle. Will also be responsible for development, upkeep, and implementation of new PowerBI dashboards.
• Owner of data migration pipelines. Will be subject matter expert for what data is loaded into the database. Must be able to create, understand and develop data pipelines based on the project at hand. Familiar with Microsoft Azure.
• Create, maintain, and update R scripts to grab data from our warehouse management systems rest API. Utilize and leverage data for reporting purposes.
• Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; setting goals; publishing progress reports through Power BI; recommending actions; following up with project stakeholders.
• Provides orientation and training for end-users by writing and maintaining user documentation.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Preferred majors include: Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering
• 1 years’ experience of working with API’s
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to: Visio, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, and complex formulas).
• SQL – ability to query data using SQL for reporting.
• Power BI – ability to develop dashboards and visuals.
• R- ability to develop and create scripts to interact with WMS API.
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to learn new systems and tools.

Preferred

Strong writing and presentation skills to author, document, and delivery training materials to a diverse audience and serve as subject-matter expert.

Bilingual.

Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Understanding of EDIs (850, 856, 940, 944, 852, and 204).

Understanding of Azure Data Factory and ETL to automate reports and processes.

General Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• This is sedentary work in a comfortable office environment.

• This position will require occasional lifting up to 10 pounds in order to carry training materials or other items while on site at one of the warehouses or in the office.

JOB LOCATION AND TRAVEL

This is a full-time position located at our company headquarters in Jacksonville, FL.

We have manufacturing plants in Orlando, FL; Hazleton and Hamburg, PA and Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Occasional travel will be required to each facility to perform analysis and requirements gathering, and then to deliver training to the workforce in these locations.

COMPENSATION

The salary will be between $55-65K.
