The Employee Engagement Coordinator is responsible for providing an environment of growth, stability and passion to all internal customers that join the community to assure all stages of the employee experience are completed from the onboarding experience to the annual performance evaluation. As a primary support to the Wellness Team, this position is also routinely expected to perform caregiver and med aide duties.
Employee Engagement Coordinator Job Profile
As Employee Engagement Coordinator, you will have the incredible opportunity to ssupport multiple departments by providing leadership in the following areas:
- Scheduling candidate interviews and conducting initial interviews for wellness and other departments when needed.
- Scheduling orientation and training for MC and AL new employees.
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation, and in-services as needed for all staff.
- Manage staffing schedules and PTO, including monitoring for overtime for wellness.
- Employee coaching/validation/observation, reporting back to Wellness Director, as necessary.
- Ensure competency of new employees in their given roles.
- Coordinate with other directors to celebrate special achievements as outlined in the Passion Program.
- On-call for employee call during the week and alternate on weekends with other management.
- Making rounds to ensure the community is up to established standards
- Support marketing tours when needed and know the process of how to collect a deposit and walk through the discovery processes.
Employee Engagement Coordinator Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in a peer leadership type of role with responsibility for providing exceptional customer service.
- High level of ability in effective and succinct written and oral communication with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
- Ability to respect the confidentiality, rights, and privacy of others while being honest, fair, responsible, and dependable.
- Proficiency with maneuvering various computer systems, online platforms, and reporting functions. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Office is required.
