What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Driver position at Techline, Inc.?
Techline Pipe is seeking a Driver to work in the Montgomery, TX branch. This position will be responsible for safely delivering material, tracking warehouse inventory, loading/unloading deliveries, and more. No specific endorsements are required for this role.
Driving territory is local in Montgomery, TX, which allows you to be home nights and weekends.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivery of material in company vehicle
- Operation of an F-550 with a 40-foot gooseneck trailer (with a valid Class A CDL)
- Assist in warehouse when not delivering
Skills and abilities:
- Able to work in a warehouse environment, adapting to seasonal temperature changes and inclement weather
- Able to meet physical requirements. Actions include but are not limited to, standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, lifting 70 pounds, and more.
Requirements:
- At least one year driving experience required
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test
- Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License
