The Global Customer Support Services (GCSS) organization exists to ensure a seamless customer experience and continuous success by providing unparalleled care to every customer in their resourceful use of energy and water. GCSS is looking for a Technical Project Coordinator to help support initiatives focusing on operationalization, commercialization and supportability of our products and solutions. This Intern will be working with GCSS leadership and individual contributors (engineers).

Duration: ~8 hours/day for at least 90 days, with potential to continue to year end

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in development of GCSS projects related to supportability and how to operationalize customer support for a given product or solution.
  • Assist in research of GCSS Operationalization and Supportability concepts and methodologies through various online research channels such as Technology & Services Industry Association (TSIA)
  • Coordinate, attend and participate in meetings, take status notes and outline action items and task ownership
  • Complete some data organization and analysis
  • Collaborate with stakeholders effectively via workplace collaboration tools and technologies
  • Ability to learn and work within our Incident Management systems such as Remedy and Salesforce

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education/Experience: Enrolled in a related accredited degree program OR seeking to return to the workforce to make a career pivot.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products such as Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint (or similar workplace collaboration tools)
  • Strong organizational skills, including experience on a platform like Sharepoint
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices and methodologies such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). 
  • Professional workplace communication skills, including ability to communicate with stakeholders globally
  • Ability to work independently and manage time independently and successfully 
  • Self-starter with an authentic and enthusiastic attitude to learn and tackle new challenges and topics
  • Available to dedicate at least 90 days to internship 

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics to stakeholders
  • Project Management skills and/or desire for Project Management career (ie. PMP)
  • Prior related work, internship or volunteer experience in a complex matrixed organization


Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
