The EH&S Auditor (FLEX) will be assist the EH&S Manager develop, deploy and assist with continuous improvement of programs and systems that support environmental, health and safety excellence. Foster a culture of proactivity, accountability, engagement and sustainability through robust programs and processes. This key role will lead EH&S matters to ensure the Company meets or exceeds legislative, corporate and industry requirements, as well as best practice standards.
Ensures that the systems and processes for EHS comply with the requirements of Technicolor Guidelines and Policies as well as External Interested Parties (e.g., customers and legal requirements).
Collaborates with the departments to ensure that the overall performance of the established systems and processes for EHS are verified and reviewed at planned intervals and communicated to Top Management.
Plans and allocates strategically the resources needed for the sustained & effective operation of the established EHS processes.
Plans actions to engage, direct and support stakeholders to contribute to the effectiveness of the established EHS processes.
Works in collaboration with relevant teams to promote improvements of the established EHS processes.
Plans and evaluates process conformance and performs EHS audits for various business processes.
Collaborates with other departments to ensure resolution of the EHS Issues.
Determines the training and developmental needs related to EHS processes and initiates the trainings to be conducted to all relevant stakeholders.
Supports Corporate EHS plans and strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Ensure Compliance with OSHA, Thomson & Technicolor Safety Regulations
Ensure compliance with OSHA, Thomson and Technicolor facility and safety regulations, procedures, and work instructions,
Conduct safety inspections of facilities.
This job operates in a warehouse floor environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and filing cabinets.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in occupational safety, environmental science, or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
3 to 5 years of relevant EHS experience, preferably in a warehousing environment or a combination of education and experience.
Attention to detail and capability to analyze data and make sound conclusions.
Strong aptitude for organization, prioritization and managing multiple tasks at the same time.
Ability to actively participate in team-oriented processes influence team engagement and to drive team decision making to conclusions/solutions.
Must possess a theoretical and practical knowledge of all state and federal regulatory standards.
Knowledge of current safety and loss control practices is essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
