Buyer
In the challenging market situation we want to strengthen our procurement Team in Kraków - are you the team player we are looking for? Do you enjoy working in a busy environment, keeping an eye on the details, yet playing an important role in the big picture? As a Buyer you will be representing TechnipFMC towards our suppliers, making sure we do the best deals and stay competitive. You will communicate internally with our Engineering and Manufacturing environments, as the commercial contact on our purchasing activities. We will rely on you to provide accurate information on pricing and delivery times, place purchase orders and identifying cost savings for our business.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Procure products (parts and/or services) in compliance with TechnipFMC strategies and objectives
- Secure competitive delivery conditions, prioritized on safety, quality, delivery, and cost in the event of conflict
- Proactively manage and maintain orders through to goods receipt, including provision of alternative freight forwarding arrangements where necessary
- Operate as the sole commercial contact to assure compliance to agreement
- Proactively manage Suppliers according to sourcing category strategies
- Continuously communicate order status with internal stakeholders, and ensure accuracy of system data
- Comply and uphold applicable business processes and policies, while identifying improvements where necessary
- Stay up to date in your subject of expertise
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor`s degree in finance, engineering, supply chain or administration
- Min. 1 year of experience within procurement, material management and/or planning
- English and Polish - fluent
- Experience in SAP or equally complex business system would be an asset
- Experience in Microsoft Excel would be an asset
- Competency in modern quality principles in large and complex organizations would be an asset
- Analytical skills and problem solving skills
- A customer focused, proactive and innovative mindset
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective networks and relations at all levels
