The Customer Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating seamless operations and communication between the TechServ joint use team, client management, and external partners. This position requires a proactive approach to manage logistics, track project completions, and ensure quality control in design processes, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management:
- Act as a primary liaison between TechServ and the client in the assigned region. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client and TechServ teams.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client management and TechServ Telecom Services to ensure effective communication of logistics and expectations.
- Prepare and present detailed reports for meetings with client management, utilizing COGNOS reports and RETOOL reports.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on client interactions, feedback, and satisfaction levels. Use insights gained from client communications to inform strategies for service improvement.
- Project Tracking:
- Work closely with internal teams, including management, project management and design teams to relay client feedback and collaborate on client-focused initiatives.
- Diligently track all requests from client Resource Analysts and external attachers from initial receipt through to completion, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Follow up with TechServ project management on make-ready related inquiries and progress towards construction to guarantee timely project advancement.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Conduct QA/QC on all DDS designs prior to submission for client approval, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.
- Monitor the application of permits for work requests, ensuring compliance and timely progression to construction phases.
- General Duties:
- Assist in various capacities to support TechServ joint use team, including addressing make-ready related questions.
- Address and resolve client issues promptly, communicate with internal departments to facilitate solutions that meet client expectations.
- Perform additional duties as required by the TechServ Director of Operations demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team success.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Post secondary education preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of proven experience in coordination, project tracking, or a similar role within a utility or telecommunications environment, is preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Utilize COGNOS, RETOOL, and relevant software for report generation and project tracking.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Travel and On-site Visits:
- Travel to client locations and TechServ locations within the region to conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations. This travel is expected to constitute approximately 0 - 25% of the role's responsibilities.
