Job Summary

TechTu Business Solutions, Inc is looking for the Business Analyst who will be part of a team and work for Secretary of State, CA that will help strengthen the IT services, features, and operations. The role will be responsible for the quality and timely delivery of projects and services pertaining to Business Analyst.

Roles and Responsibilities

Role

• Serve as the primary Business Analyst for the CATS Project.

• Coordination of detail requirements gathering sessions with business, technical, and contracted vendors to ensure quality requirements documentation.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Interview clients for the purpose of documentation of business rules and steps within processes and workflows

• Plan and design business processes

• Analyze and document business processes

• Identifies improvement opportunities and make recommendations to process changes

• Create requirements documents: business and functional requirements

• Create process flows diagrams to facilitate the solution design

• Develop use cases

• Review completed As-Is processes documentation * Prepare documentation for To-Be processes

Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience –

1 Five (5) years of experience performing business systems analysis for a medium[1]scale web-based technology project including but not limited to: business systems analysis, business process reengineering, facilitation and business requirements elicitation, use-case preparation, and documentation.

Two (2) years of experience performing requirements definition and management within the last five (5) years, based on the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 29148 including the ability to write and/or transform existing requirements into a format that complies with IEEE standards.

3 Five (5) years of experience in organizing requirements in a manner that facilitates forward and backward traceability.

4 One of the following professional business analysis certifications: PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)® or an IIBA® certification.

5 Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for[1]year basis

1 Experience using Salesforce

2 Experience in agile project management

3 Valid certification from Scrum Master Program

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $53,824.00 - $119,627.00 per year
