What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Copy Coordinator position at TEGNA?
WXIA/WATL Atlanta is searching for a multi-talented, energetic and organized team player to join our Sales Support team as a Copy Coordinator. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, work with a high level of accuracy, be very detail oriented, have the ability to problem solve and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Securing and processing traffic instructions for all advertisers.
- Entering all copy related information using our WideOrbit traffic software.
- Process all commercials received via FTP, Extreme Reach, internal production and other various delivery sources for daily processing by master control hub in Charlotte.
- Maintain active and archival commercial library
- Maintaining electronic files for all traffic instructions
- Resolve commercial issues with master control hub in Charlotte, clients, and sales
- Provide customer service and other assigned tasks on a local and national level
- Performance of other duties as assigned

- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Must possess a strong attention to detail
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure
- Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Must be highly motivated and ambitious with a "can do" attitude
- Previous broadcasting experience preferred
- Experience in WideOrbit Traffic preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
- Travel: Rarely: less than 10%
- Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
- Physical Demands Set: Sedentary work: Involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
