About the Role:

The Facility Scheduling Manager position has primary responsibility for production planning and managing scheduling. Execution of timely production is critical in successfully maintaining the strong relationships we have built with our customers. This position helps to ensure production capabilities and materials are available to meet production demands

Responsibilities:

· Partner with US Supply Chain to plan facility production requirements from daily up to 30 days out to meet customer expectations.

· Will collaborate with US Supply Chain, Customer Service, Capacity Planning, Engineering and facility management team to ensure plans are accurate and risks are communicated in an urgent manner

· Ensure all necessary materials such as tags, stickers, and other BOM requirements are inventoried properly in ERP.

· Ensure call outs for specialty products such as inks are called out with enough advance notice to ensure production dates are not impacted.

· Manage production scheduler to ensure optimized production schedules and prioritize job orders for screen print facility.

· Confirm accuracy of production planning reports such as the Blanks Inventory, Goods at Consolidator, and Call for Routing reports.

· Will manage daily, weekly and monthly scheduling for primary sub-contractor assigned to facility

· Primary liaison between Operations and Customer Service.

· Follow-up with all facility departments to expedite work orders and ensure customer expectations are met.

· Use ERP system and other key sources to help forecast and schedule workflow.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· A minimum of five years' experience in production planning required.

· Possess strong attention to detail, effective communication skills and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment.

· Ability to anticipate and respond to unexpected shifts in order volume or other variations in demand flow so proactive measures can be taken to meet production demands.

· Must have understanding of both the processes of screen print, VAS and finishing

· Experience using ERP system such as opening/closing work orders and MRP is required for consideration.

· Ability to scrutinize information, accurately schedule, work hands-on with various teams, and actively problem-solve on the fly.

· Can readily produce plans and proposals for changes in production processes.

· Must have above average proficiency using Microsoft Office.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work production related work experience required.
