About the Role:

Six-week paid formal training program schedule: M-F 8-hour day or night shift.

Operator work schedule: Non-Rotating 12-hour shift 3 days per week after training.

Starting pay is $12.50/HR with the opportunity to advance to $15.00/HR in six weeks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Interpreting production specs and job assignments for jobs according to the production schedule.
  • Reads and understands the order to verify quantity to be run, overrun tolerance, color sequence, and substrate.
  • Obtains substrate, screen, ink, squeegee, and related supplies needed to produce the job.
  • Sets up press according to established company guidelines, safety procedures, and job requirements.
  • Verifies work to be completed to check press setup, registration, ink viscosity, and color.
  • Understand the different inks being used and different fabric contents being printed on and notify maintenance to adjust the dryer temperature and belt speed accordingly.
  • Prints job maintaining optimum production speed and makes press adjustments to ensure print quality, registration, and color.
  • Solves printing problems as they arise in an efficient manner.
  • Ensures proper cleanliness of the press, workstation, and press area by returning unused ink to the ink area, removing trash, cleaning equipment every day, and reducing clutter in the work area.
  • Oversees and directs press team members.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to multi-task and work in different areas of production, as needed
  • Must be able to work at a steady pace
  • Must be able to walk, stand, squat, bend, twist, and kneel for 8 hours
  • Must be able to work in excessive heat and cold temperatures
  • Must be available to work 12-hour day or night shifts
