We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist for our new, air controlled Seguin, Texas Plant.
MUST HAVE STRONG Payroll experience, ADP Workforce Now, E-Time, Kronos!!!!
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform onboarding activities to include orientation and ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll timely and accurately.
- Work closely with the Corporate Payroll Manager on planned changes and to resolve any pay or system related issues.
- Effectively communicate HR programs to include benefits, services, and information in a positive manner.
- Maintain confidentiality in all dealings.
- Maintain accurate and current information in employees' personnel files.
- Assist with recruiting for exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Provide support to the HR Manager in all associate engagement and retention programs, appraisals, and activities. Assist in corrective actions, as required.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and follow-through with projects and assigned.
- Assists with establishment of departmental goals and support company strategic plans.
- Ensure the compliance with all local, State and Federal laws and statutes including labor laws and other governmental regulations.
- Assisting employees with daily questions and concerns with regard to attendance and vacations; and other program(s).
- Support IATF 16949 and ISO14001 auditing and initiatives.
- Working knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Two to four years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Payroll experience.
- Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- The ability to act with professionalism and maintain a professional stance.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level of ethics and integrity.
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive records.
- Associates or bachelor's degree in HR related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
