Job Description
Role: BI Tester
Location: RED WING, MN 55066( Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months
Description:
- Experience working with development team from the initial development of business requirements, through all the Agile steps and providing on-going maintenance and support.
- Experience in BI/Report testing
- Ability to develop test strategy, suite, and cases to thoroughly test a SSAS tabular data models
- Strong experience in writing SQL statements
- Knowledge of relational databases – can navigate and extract data
- Ability to develop automated validation tests that can identify if data anomalies occur in production and mechanisms for data stewards to correct them
- Ability to develop automated regression suites
- Ability to handle defect management and test status reporting activities – will need to follow QA standards and processes already in place
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong manual testing skills
- Experience with TFS and MTM, along with Office products
- Strong QA process skills
