What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at Tek One Solutions?
Responsibilities:
- Install all low voltage type cable (Coax, CAT5, CAT6, Speaker, Access Control, etc.)
- Understands architectural drawing for placement of wire
- Experience in patch panels, racks, jacks
- Experience in using a toner, tracker and labeler qualification
- Installation such as network devices and patch panels, building out racks, and troubleshooting existing issues.
- Experience and familiarity with audio, video, networks, network cameras, routers, cloud and VOIP systems
- Responsible for enhancing over-all job site productivity
- Ensuring high-quality work
- Installing of cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
- Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations.
Requirements:
- 2 years of previous work experience as a cable technician.
- Ability to work in cramped spaces.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix any problems that may arise.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Ability to identify independent colors and learn color codes.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
