Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator - Supervisor

Duration: 3 months CFH

Location: In order of preference: Wichita, KS; Corpus Christi, TX; Minneapolis, MN. 3 days onsite/2 days remote. Open to relocation on the candidate’s dime.

Soft Skills: Communication has to be super strong, wants someone with humility who works well with others.

Day to day: Developing architecture with customers based on their requirements. VMWare best practice: operations and manufacturing environments.

On Call: Each resource is on call for 1 week in an 8-person rotating schedule. So, every 8 weeks you take a week.

Notes:

• This would be a player/coach role. From a technical POV – we are still looking for everything lined out below, but also looking for someone who has leadership/supervising experience.
• Backfill, needs to be filled as quickly as possible
• Their team currently supports all of FHR’s infrastructure systems. Systems in AWS and on-prem
• Thousands of servers (1,500 servers)- half AWS, half virtual.
• Support operations team –someone who has worked for an operations company is a big plus and would be valuable to FHR.
• Application owner for Veeam for backups, understand the infra, improve it, full-service suite.
• Support terminal services environment
• Manage Sans
• VMWare shop. Support AWS. Support SAN. Critical Applications. Backups, Monitoring, Remote access, password management.
• Products that would be beneficial to have a background in: Veeam, PRTG, Solarwinds, Beyond Trust
