Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years' experience with writing automated tests using C# or automated testing tool (i.e., Selenium, TestComplete)
5 years performing QA software testing of a modular enterprise application
Understanding of QA Testing methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
Experience with event-driven architecture and testing patterns
Excellent knowledge of the C# Programming language and the .NET framework
Experience with distributed version control like GIT
3 years of experience with Agile/Lean development methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum
Experience with Selenium Web Driver
API testing experience
Experience with a JavaScript testing framework, like Jest
Experience with NoSQL, MongoDB is preferred
Knowledge of relational database principles
Experience integrating with an automated code analysis tool like SonarQube
Prior experience with a CI system (Azure, TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.). Experience with CI/CD in Azure DevOps is a plus
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Virtual box)
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, time management, and attention to detail
Strong desire to keep learning, growing, and evolving your technical skills
Self-motivated, positive team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Financial services industry experience is desired
Responsibilities:
Write automated tests using C# and automated testing tools like Selenium
Write SQL/noSQL queries (MongoDB preferred)
Demonstrate experience writing and executing complex functional test cases and test plans at both the functional and feature level
Design test strategies and execute testing of a completely new functional implementation and/or release regression
Demonstrate experience successfully executing different testing methodologies (Performance, White and Black Box testing)
Develop and execute acceptance criteria for complex technical functionality
Document test efforts and communicate results to both a technical and non-technical audience
Mentor/guide new QA associates
