Job Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
- Develop original structural packaging designs that are cost-effective and eco-friendly.
- Use CAD software for design and prototyping.
- Ensure all designs meet required specifications and quality standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with sales representatives to understand client requirements and deliver appropriate design solutions.
- Interact directly with customers to gather feedback and make necessary design adjustments.
- Collaborate with production leadership to ensure designs are manufacturable.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple design projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within deadlines.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation throughout the design process.
Innovation and Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in packaging design and materials.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance design processes and techniques.
Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure all packaging designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance checks during the production process.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in packaging design and manufacturing, with excellent knowledge of CAD programs.
- Proficiency in ArtiosCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
