Job Description
TEKsystems is looking for a Computer Operator for one of our major clients in the Appleton area. This role is a part of there NOC supporting and monitoring the data centers. This is an entry level role within the organization. A great opportunity to gain strong skills in an enterprise level organization. Shift:
12 hour shifts from 6 PM - 6 AM CST
oWorking days will rotate weekly
oOnly working 3-4 days per week
Includes a weekend shift once every 4 weeks.
Includes 7 straight days off once every 4 weeks
• Basic Troubleshooting and Alert Management
• Basic support of physical hardware in the Data Center
• Monthly security patching and validation for Servers
• Server Vulnerability remediation
• Managing alerts in ZENA
• Maintain documentation
Expectations include:
• Willingness to learn
• Being resourceful
• Being punctual
• Critical thinking skills
• Multi-tasking skills
• Ability to come onsite in an emergency (very rare) or to support scheduled vendor work (also rare)
