Description:
Seeking a skilled Cloud Network Engineer to join our team with a focus on supporting both on-premises and cloud-based networks. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in configuring, optimizing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, with a balanced approach to both traditional and cloud environments.
Looking for a network engineer that knows cloud experience that has little foundation of the cloud. Based level cert for Azure fundamentals or something similar to it. How they grow into that path. It really a good network engineer with little foundation of cloud.
Fully in Azure, from infrastructure standpoint we do. Goal is to setup on cloud and hybrid infrastructure as a backup. Infrastructure cert. Routers and switches.
Core network, Cisco route switches, multi vendors and some cloud then.
More implement configure, support stand point. Not an architecture position. More of could be a strong L2 but it could be low level L3.
Not big on certs. Want people to grow into a CCNP if they are not. At least CCNA

Demonstrated ability to multitask, make independent decisions, and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment spanning multiple network environments.
Ability to lead via influence and collaboration across various network environments, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure WAN, Velocloud, Meraki, and Fortigate solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring seamless connectivity.
Develop and maintain network diagrams and documentation, tailored to both traditional and cloud-based architectures.
Implement network backup and recovery procedures, leveraging both on-premises and cloud-native solutions as appropriate.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues across various network environments, including on-premises and cloud.
Develop and implement new system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards, with considerations for both on-premises and cloud environments.
Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating systems, ensuring compatibility with both on-premises and cloud platforms.
Install or replace network hubs, routers, and switches, considering the integration with both on-premises and cloud environments.
Integrate new systems into existing network architecture, emphasizing seamless integration across multiple environments.
Provide insights and inform the design of future network architecture, aligning with both on-premises and cloud best practices and scalability requirements.
