Summary: As a Technician, you'll be part of a team responsible for building the cable infrastructure within a data center. Your tasks will include pulling cables, working with fiber, understanding color codes, performing punch-down and termination, installing cable trays, and assembling server racks.
Responsibilities:
- Install work area outlets for floors and walls (e.g., monument, box eliminator).
- Drop cables down walls using fish tape or other methods.
- Route cables through the data center.
- Organize, form, dress, and label cables during pre-termination procedures.
- Properly suspend and support cables using cable trays, J-hooks, D-rings, bridal rings, and trapeze.
- Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cables.
- Perform fire-stopping procedures on firewalls, install sleeves, and pull cables through sleeves and core penetrations.
- Terminate low-voltage devices.
- Follow blueprints.

- Punctuality and teamwork.
- Flexibility with hours (may work 10-hour days if needed).
